Nag Champa is a classic Indian incense blend built around the champaca flower, Magnolia champaca, with sandalwood and the soft, earthy resin called halmaddi tapped from the Ailanthus triphysa tree. The best known version, Satya Sai Baba Nag Champa, has been hand rolled in Mumbai since the 1960s, and its scent is the smell of temples, yoga rooms and altars around the world. In our tradition it symbolizes divine connection and higher consciousness, elevates the spirit and transcends worldly concerns while enhancing intuition.

Fun facts
The name joins nag, the serpent deities of Hindu and Buddhist tradition, with champa, the sacred champaca flower. The halmaddi resin is what gives the sticks their damp, gray, almost clay like feel.
Care and cleansing
Keep sticks and cones sealed in a dry, dark place so the scent holds. Burn on a proper holder away from drafts, curtains and pets, and never leave incense unattended.
