Fun facts
Moldavite is the green 'stone from the heavens' that some legends connect to the Holy Grail, specifically versions of the legend where the Grail was not a cup but a green stone that fell from the sky, possibly from Lucifer's crown during a celestial battle. It formed from a meteorite impact approximately 14.8 million years ago with an estimated force of six trillion megatons, stronger than every atomic bomb on Earth detonated simultaneously, which vaporized both the meteor and surrounding rock into molten glass that rained down across what is now the Czech Republic. Genuine Moldavite only comes from a few small Central European deposits and is one of the most faked crystals in the world, making authenticity one of the most discussed topics in the entire crystal community.
