Fun facts
The green glowing hyalite from Zacatecas was found in 2013 and was mined out within a few years, so every piece is finite. Its radioactivity is within normal background levels. The name comes from the Greek hyalos, meaning glass.
Care and cleansing
Hyalite is opal and holds water, so keep it away from heat, dry air and long spells of direct sun. Rinse briefly, dry it gently and store it padded, since the glassy bubbles chip. Cleanse with smoke, sound or moonlight.
