History and lore

In history and lore: Kunz recorded in 1915 that Italian peasant women wore beads of milky white chalcedony to increase their supply of milk, and that such a bead was known in Italian as 'pietra lattea.' Budge added in 1930 that chalcedony was supposed to give a man a peaceful and equable disposition.
